Caregivers Teaching Program

This is an advanced group for those interesting in teaching meditation, therapists, counselors, nurses, and other caregivers.

I, Constance, need to know you well before you are admitted to this group.

I am often contacted by those interested in teaching meditation, and how it has benefited them, with their clients. But they often run into various problems and need a place to share those issues privately in a group of supportive colleagues where they can also share their feelings and process, as well as put it out to the group for other ideas and approaches to working with others.

This group serves not just as a source of support but as a place for digging deeper into ones own psychic awareness and developing intuition for radiating love and facilitating health and healing with others.

Sometimes, those that come into this group find that they are not well suited to the caring professions and do not want to pursue a career in teaching meditation; or facilitating awakening, but they still benefit from learning some advances techniques for working with their family and friends in daily life.

What people need to know about teaching intensive meditation is that you are not just teaching meditation when you start to work one-on-one with a student, you are also getting to know this person's social support system, abilities, mental state(s), traumas, emotional state(s), and you need to be able to make highly intuitive recommendations.

It is not so simple, and takes a real grown up approach and willingness to dig in and be truly present with the other person.

If you shy away from vulnerable adults in general, then it is not a good idea to teach meditation. During meditation the most raw and untouched places will open. And, often students will do and say things that are appalling, strange, immoral, boundariless, self-abusive, etc., and one needs to have maturity, wisdom, and loving kindness to respond appropriately.

And, there are various levels in meditation practice... experience in the deepest levels:
--a student or one reaching out for support needs to speak openly with someone familiar with the erosion of the egoic sense of self and the various symptoms and changes in awareness.

The strength of your own ability, creativity, and willingness in your own practice are often gently confronted in this group.

This group requires a one year commitment for the safety of the container of the entire group. The cost is $3000.00 payable in advance; $500.00 deposit to hold space. The group is limited to ten members. We meet twice monthly, day and time yet to be determined. Each meeting runs three to three and a half hours long. There is also a monthly check-in via email, individual meeting with Constance or telephone meeting with Constance required each month for ongoing participation.
